Owning a Cupra: what to keep on top of
Most Cupras are still within their first few years, so the first services and any warranty work matter most. Performance models wear brakes and tyres faster, and the electric Born needs its battery and charging kept healthy.
- First services on time to keep the warranty intact.
- Brake and tyre wear on the Formentor and Leon.
- Battery and charging health on the Born.
- Outstanding finance, if you are planning to sell.
Is my Cupra ULEZ compliant?
Cupra models are recent petrol, plug-in hybrid or electric cars, so they generally meet ULEZ, and the electric Born is exempt.
Can you get a Cupra service history by registration?
Where a Cupra or SEAT retailer has serviced the car, the Full HPI Check with Service History lists those visits for £14.95. A newer Cupra may not have had its first service yet. If there is no record, the service history part is not charged.
Which Cupra models can be checked?
Every Cupra with a UK registration, including the Formentor, Leon, Ateca, Born and Tavascan.
